A playwright’s work is often influenced by his or her life experience — a truth often acknowledged by many artists. For Cheryl Piha, her life is an eclectic and deep well from which to draw. Making her way to Columbia via Florida, New York City and several spots along the East Coast, Piha considers herself wealthy in experience and heartened by stepping into the next scene of her own life: finishing her master’s degree in theater at the University of Missouri.
