Hocus Pocus Out of Focus
International Brotherhood of Magicians
Some of KC's finest variety acts come together to entertain with some of their seldom seen acts. All acts are used to working their own complete shows but for "Hocus Pocus Out Of Focus" they only get to share a portion of the usual fair. Where can you see magical entertainment that ranges from illusions in classic style to circus sideshow feats without feeling like your at a kids show. The show even included a very clever dramatic reading.
I have purposely left the performers names out to as not to give a false image of what they do. You would recognize them from their regular gigs and some have even changed their stage name to allow them to let loose with over the top presentations. Sure some technical difficulties but overall a lot of fun. Yes its hot at the MET, but its worth it to tough it out. I'm giving it a 3 but I'm sure this rating will rise with shows number two and three.
