  • Wright/Laird Casting in KC was looking for a male actor 18-25 years old with longer hair for a regional television commercial.
  • Matt Mendoza, director of A Slice of Heaven, was casting in Lawrence. He needed African-American males and females.
  • The thriller You’re Next wrapped principal photography in Columbia.
  • If you are a choreographer wanting to work on a feature movie, contact Brooke Hansen at brookechanceproductions@gmail.com. The movie is The Majestic being produced by Chance Film Productions in KC. This company is also looking for a full production crew to shoot the trailer. They are shooting with a RED One camera.
  • Television commercials for the Missouri Lottery and Missouri Credit Union were shot around KC.
  • Producers for the SyFy Channel series Ghost Hunters is looking in Kansas and Missouri area for visually unique structures with a history of paranormal activity. They prefer power plants, factories, dams. Contact Zig Gauthier at zig.gauthier@redvarden.com. He is also looking for locations in Kansas to be used in a new series pilot. The location should be a very large building that looks abandoned in a remote area and have a high fear factor. 
  • Green Mobile Man, a telephone recycling center in KC, was looking for someone to produce their commercials. Contact them at www.greenmobileman.com.
  • Producers for Missouri Lottery commercials held auditions in KC for a game show host.
