Perhaps zombie circus would be a better title?

Burlesque Bloodbath
KC Fringe Festival
The juggler was amazing. Amazing. The magician was entertaining. The MC sang very well. The girl with the hoop did an excellent job. But the show slightly missed the mark. One, there wasn't much in the way of burlesque. Two, I think it would have benefited a little from more humor (like the microphone bit) and a little less of an enforced "sinister" air (which was a complete contradiction to the magician and juggler). The concept has such great potential, and there's talent there, it just needs tweaking and refining. This was their first year, I hope they keep at it and make changes and improvements (please do not use the Cranberries song, it's actually about something very serious and not appropriate, there are tons of awesome zombie songs out there) and it turns into something amazing. I'd recommend going to see it, though I'd go expecting to see a fantastic juggler, mostly, and I think it's one to hopefully check back in with next year.
Please note: The Cranberries song that was performed was an original parody, re-written to be about zombies. Opening night featured a technical problem in the booth and the original version was played instead of the accompaniment track (first night at fringe, these things happen). We assume this is the incident you're referring to, as in all other nights, different words from the original were sung. Cirque du Risqué apologizes if that hiccup caused members of our audience to be offended, however we will still continue to perform our material as it was intended.
