Kurt Elling, the elite male vocalist in jazz, awed an audience of
about 400 on Saturday at the Gem Theater. The stellar exhibition of his
groundbreaking talent demonstrated that Elling continues to dramatically
expand the artistic possibilities of jazz vocals.
