"Death of a Salesman", "Blacktop Sky" comparisons by Paul Horsley

The KC Rep’s Death of a Salesman and the Unicorn Theatre’s BlackTop Sky, which both opened during the last weekend in January, provided local theatergoers with a study in contrasts. Both plays examine the darker side of the American Dream – one of post-war gloom during the late 1940s and the other of the modern condition of urban poor.
