Just ask Bob Sheppard, a first-call Los Angeles sax man who’s coming to
our area this week for two important reasons: to teach and perform at
the University of Kansas Jazz Festival,
and to hang out and make music with bassist Bob Bowman and guitarist
Danny Embrey, two friends with whom he has a gig at the Blue Room at
8:30 p.m. Saturday.
