Carly Meyers was in elementary school when she fell in love with the sights and sounds of the trombone. “When I was in fourth grade I remember they brought in a group of
professional musicians to show us different instruments to inspire us to
pick up an instrument to play in fifth-grade band,” she said. “I fell
in love with the brass instruments.”
