Kenny Garrett, Folly Theatre review by Bill Brownlee
The program notes for Friday's concert at the Folly Theater
suggested that Kenny Garrett is "the preeminent alto saxophonist of his
generation." Kansas City's Bobby Watson and his many hometown fans may
take issue with that assertion.
