Glenn North of
Kansas City is poet-in-residence at the American Jazz Museum. North
attended Lincoln University in Jefferson City, received a bachelor of
arts from Rockhurst University and is pursuing a master of fine arts
in creative writing at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He is
hosting “Jazz, Poetry and the Civil Rights Movement” at 6:30 p.m.
