The River City Community Players has just completed the installation of a new audio system including microphones, a hearing impaired system, and new sound mixer board.
On Saturday, February 20 at 12 noon a free training session by Digital Sound Systems will be conducted for all interested in learning the new system. The training will be held at the Leavenworth Performing Arts Center, 500 Delaware Street, Leavenworth, Kansas.
Anyone interested in adding to their theatre education are invited to attend. This four hour free seminar will provide expert knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance, sound balance, board operations and troubleshooting.
Those completing the training may sign up as potential audio designers for future productions with River City Community Players.
