Val Caniparoli "Lambarena" interview by Paul Proffett
Perhaps the most widely anticipated event is the performance of choreographer Val Caniparoli’s piece Lambarena, a fusion of African dance moves combined with a classical Bach score. Caniparoli, resident choreographer of the San Francisco Ballet, spoke recently about his piece in a phone interview.
