Volunteers Needed for Enchanted Forest

The Enchanted Forest is a non scary Halloween event for the whole family. It is held at the George Owens Nature Park in Independence. Groups go down the trail with a guide in the front and one at the back of the group. The show takes place through out in the forest. When you come to a clearing you encounter characters from your favorite stories acted out. At the end of the trail there is a hayride to bring you back to the top of the hill.

Dates for the event are Oct 22, 23, 29 and 30. The proceeds from this event benefit the Power House Theatre Foundation and go to keep the building maintained - the home of City Theatre of Independence, The Children's Performing Theatre and Encore Theatre groups.
