Camera operator needed for documentary pilot

The company I work for is filming a low budget pilot for a documentary series in Kansas City next week. We are seeking a camera operator that might be interested and familiar with the Canon 5D, hoping to gain experience as a shooter, and more interested in a credit and developing their reel than a normal day rate. If you have worked with a new camera operator or DP that might be interested please consider forwarding this information on to them.

As for a little bit about us: we’re a production company called Sweatshop Media based in Los Angeles, and we’ve produced content for film and television with a broad range of companies, from Lifetime and TruTV to Dreamworks and Warner Bros.

Also, one of our upcoming documentary series, “P.I. Moms of San Francisco,” has been featured in People magazine (see attached article). You can check out the series’ trailer here: www.vemdirector.com/pimomsepkcut2.mov PI Moms could serve as a model for our current project and also give you a better grasp of our most recent work.

Please feel free to check out our websites below. Best, Isaac Ebersole Sweatshop Media

  1. I would be interested in speaking to someone about this. I own/shoot with a Canon 7d. I have primes and zoom lenses, as well as small lighting
package, led on camera light, Zoom H4N digital audio recorder and more. Also, small hd editing suite. My contact info:
