Documentary looks at slavery in Missouri

"Negroes to Hire," a documentary film detailing slavery in 19th century Missouri, will be shown Sunday at William Jewell College in Liberty. Speaking after the showing will be Gary Jenkins, a Kansas City lawyer -- and descendant of a Clinton County, Mo. slaveowner -- who made the film, as well as Jimmy Johnson, a Kansas City educator.
