Gustav Mahler, a master symphonist
and craftsman of orchestral sound, brought wrenching emotion and drama
to the world of symphonic music. His Sixth Symphony is a moving and
powerful statement that blends deep emotion with moments of sublime
beauty. Music Director, Michael Stern, and the Kansas City Symphony will
perform this epic work on January 11-13, 2013 in Helzberg Hall at the
Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.
