KC Repertory "Mystery of Imra Vep" review by Russ Simmons

Since it’s founding in 1964, the Kansas City Repertory Theatre (née Missouri Repertory Theatre) became known for its somber and ascetic productions of Shakespeare, Ibsen and Chekov. Over the last decade or so, the company has made a concerted effort to loosen its collar a bit, adding more musicals, comedies and original productions to its repertoire. And now, it’s become ridiculous.
