KC Academy, Grassroots Music Festival preview by Timothy Finn

In January, the Kansas City Academy, 7933 Main St., launched the Grassroots Concert Series in its 70-person performing arts theater. This weekend, the academy is throwing a three-day Grassroots Music Festival that will feature several Kansas City/Lawrence bands and artists performing a variety of music.
