New Theatre "Game's Afoot" review by Robert Trussell
The New Theatre production of Ken Ludwig’s “The Game’s
Afoot” is nicely done – witty, broadly comic and dressed up with an
impressive scenic design and sumptuous 1930s-era costumes. And
director Richard Carrothers has assembled a strong cast for this
murder-mystery comedy, mixing Kansas City-based actors with several
Chicago performers new to local audiences.
