Volunteers needed for "Dance in the Park"

Dance in the Park, scheduled for Saturday evening in Roanoke Park, relies upon neighborhood volunteers for its success. This year several folks from the surrounding neighborhoods of Roanoke, Coleman Highlands, West Plaza, Valentine and Volker have already signed up to help, but the dance needs a few more volunteers. Dance in the Park needs:
  • Strong people to help set up the stage Wednesday 9:30 – 11:30 (depending on the weather).
  • Monitors to watch over the stage and equipment Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. or from 10 a.m. to noon.
  • One more volunteer for parking and traffic control Saturday from 5:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m..
  • Someone to hold the donation basket after the show Saturday.
  • Help tearing down the stage around 11 a.m. on Sunday.
If you can help, find “Dance in the Park 2012″ on Facebook and let them know you can help.
