New Theatre "Social Security" review by Nancy Pistorius

She still has the same lilting laugh, the same impish grin, and the same spot-on comedic timing that she had all those years ago when she was a magical young genie who lived in a bottle. Barbara Eden at 78 is still a beautiful pixie who looks and acts as if she’s drunk from the fountain of youth. She’s starring now in the New Theatre Restaurant’s production of Social Security, and onstage she looks as if she’s relishing her role of a kvetching, pain-in-the-ass mother transformed into a charming, perky older woman who is head-over-heels in love.
