Lyric Opera "Daughter of the Regiment" preview by Robert Trussell

For the first time in years, patrons of the Lyric Opera won’t be reading supertitles when they take their seats for Gaetano Donizetti’s “The Daughter of the Regiment.” In a departure from the Lyric’s longstanding policy of performing operas in their original languages, Donizetti’s work will be performed in English.
