Tonio (Victor Ryan Robertson) has enlisted in the French army so he can marry Marie, the daughter of the regiment. Here, Tonio expresses his happiness at receiving the regiment's approval to marry Marie. The Daughter of the Regiment plays at the Lyric Opera of Kansas City February 19 through the 27.
