Kansas Governor Sam Brownback signed an executive order Monday to eliminate the Kansas Arts Commission. It will be replaced with a private panel to help arts organizations get funding from private sources. While the full effects of the move are still to be seen, an Olathe playhouse is already making plans to deal with the changes.
