Lonnie McFadden can’t sit still. During a 90-minute interview the 54-year-old lithe entertainer—a hoofer, musician and singer—is perched on the edge of a chair in the Leawood dance school where he teaches tap. His feet move in tiny swirling motions, his hands keep rhythm to an invisible metronome and there seems to be a powerful connection between him and the floor.
