Fringe Festival "Khan! the Musical" review by ajennings

A Trekkie's Delight!
Rating: 5

Khan! the Musical
KC Fringe Festival

As a proud trekkie, I couldn't wait to see "Khaaaan! The Musical" and I laughed like crazy!

Everything from the set (which included a red rolling computer chair with decorated boxes on the arms as Kirk's captain's chair) to the costumes (Val is not to be missed with her side ponytail and cutout tank top) had me catcalling and guffawing with the rest of the audience. Time traveling and how the transporters work is not to be missed!

Unfortunately, I didn't get a program, so I wasn't able to get the cast/crew names. But, they all did wonderful! The songs are a delight, 'Come in Peace', 'Masters of Time and Space', and 'Remember When' being a few of my favorites. As well as 'Science Fiction Movie' which is still running through my head!

The final Fringe show of "Khaaaan! The Musical" is today (Sun) at 2pm at the Off Center Theater in Crown Center. I recommend catching it, since we don't live in the 23rd century yet and you can't time travel back if you miss it!
