Rusty Sneary had a birthday the other day. And how do you suppose he celebrated? The 34-year-old actor marked the day by exhausting himself. He rehearsed two emotionally complex, physically demanding plays back
to back. One was “Burn This,” Lanford Wilson’s searing drama about
friends and lovers coming together in a New York loft to mourn the
accidental death of a young dancer. The other was David Rabe’s
“Hurlyburly,” an intense piece about a house full of drinking, doping
actors, writers and agents in the Hollywood Hills.
