Movie posters were among the earliest and simplest ways to
advertise a film. Now they’re one of the hippest and most inventive,
thanks to Mondo. The company, led by Bonner Springs native Justin Ishmael,
serves as the collectible art boutique arm of the Alamo Drafthouse
cinema chain based in Austin, Texas. Mondo’s radical approach uses top
artists to create new posters for classic and contemporary films.
