Barn Players "Chess" review by Steve Wilson

In the game of chess a win is determined when one player gets a checkmate against their opponent. On Friday night the Barn Players opened their production of “Chess”, which should be called "Checkmate" because it is already a winner. The musical is based on an idea by Tim Rice and a book by Richard Nelson and lyrics by Tim Rice and deals with a chess match between the American Chess Master and the World Number One Chess Master.
