Lyric Opera rehearsal space tour by Brenna Hawley

Gone is the vandal-targeted East Bottoms building with a leaky roof and no air conditioning. Gone also is the performance space with cramped room to rehearse or prepare. On Sept. 7, the Lyric Opera of Kansas City will celebrate the grand opening of its $10.5 million, two-building space in the Crossroads Arts District.
