Topeka Jazz Workshop review by Chuck Berg

Without question, this is the finest edition of the Topeka Jazz Workshop Band in years. Playing with precision as well as plenty of snap, crackle and pop, the 18-strong ensemble evoked memories of the big band era, as well as Vegas’s Rat Pack glory days when the Dunes and Sands packed ‘em in to partake of the hip, jazz-inflected cool of Sinatra, Martin and Davis.
