Barn Players "Revolution" review by FallingSnow

Revolution: A Tribute to the Beatles
The Barn Players, Inc.

If you want great music, high energy, bright colors, and lyrics that often times don't make a lick of sense, then Revolution is for you. If you're in the mood to get that toe tappin' and that lighter wavin', then Revolution is for you. If you want a fresh take on some of the most memorable hits from yesteryear, then Revolution is for you. And most importantly, if you desire a great evening of entertainment while supporting a terrific organization, then Revolution is for you.

You won't see four floppy-haired chaps wearing suits with skinny ties onstage. Instead, you'll see a diverse ensemble paying tribute to a cultural phenomenon. Every cast member is given the chance to shine in this fast-paced show, and you'll most likely come away with some extra Beatles knowledge, thanks to the short narratives that separate song groupings.

If you're not entertained, you may want to check your pulse. Chances are you'll catch yourself mouthing many of the words, if not singing them out loud. You may even have a new favorite Beatles' tune by the end of the show!

The band is a-rockin', and the singers onstage are clearly having a great time. So will you!
