Musician Audra Sergel interview by Amy Wilder

For an artistic individual, life tends to hold the unmapped complexity of a John Cage arrangement, rather than the organized, logical progression of a Philip Glass score. Like Crockett Johnson's Harold, a creative soul takes up his or her purple crayon and scribbles the notes of his or her song on life's walls. Singer-pianist Audra Sergel has created her life's opus with her own purple crayon, following her passion for music through teaching and performing in Columbia.
