The Kansas Arts Commission will be hosting a telephone conference call workshop called "Getting Ready for Successful Fundraising" on
Friday, November 19, from 12:00-1:00 pm.
It will be led by the executive director of the Kansas Arts Commission; staff, volunteers and board members of organizations are all invited to participate. This nuts-and-bolts telephone workshop will help smaller arts and cultural organizations:
- Build an annual development program
- Identify board members’ strengths and weaknesses
- Engage board members in fundraising
- Build a case statement
- Write a development plan
- Identify what’s needed to communicate your value to donors
- Learn from real-life case studies to guide your organization to success
