UMKC dance professor Rodney Williams denied tenure

Professor Rodney Williams is known for his admirable work as assistant professor of dance in the UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance. Williams generated authentic relationships among his students. However, his position is on the line, as he was denied tenure earlier this year. Being denied tenure essentially meant Williams’ position as a dance professor at UMKC is not guaranteed.
