"Chicago," the celebrated musical of sin and cynicism, is the greatest of many impressive accomplishments from composer John Kander, a Kansas City native. Director Mark Swezey and the talented folks at the Jewish Community Center have mounted a slick and polished production of the multiple Tony and Oscar winner. Kander would undoubtedly approve.
