Playwright Mario Farwell seeking composer

Mario Farwell is an award winning playwright, screenwriters and librettist in search of a composer to complete work on a full-length musical entitled "Starfest." The musical has been in development for several years, and he has recently completed the book and lyrics.he's  looking for a composer to collaborate with on developing the music for the show. "Starfest" is a parody of the sci-fi genre such as the Flash Gordon serials with an urban twist. Think of "Star Wars" meets "The Wiz." The major roles are portrayed by Afro-Americans, and the music is a blend of R&B, rock, gospel, hip-hop and traditional musical theatre. The composer needs to be proficient in pop musical style and able to write music for complicated singing scenes. The book and lyric have been completed. Show has a total of 19 songs and musical numbers. The composer will get a percentage of the show. Farwell is located in St. Louis, MO and willing to work with composer out of state or country.
