Ragtag Cinema receives $25,000 grant

Over the last 14 years Ragtag Cinema has been built up by a hodgepodge of city and film supporters, but this year its efforts have been recognized in one important way: It has earned high praise in the form of its first National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Art Works grant. 788 of these grants were awarded to various organizations this year, and this $25,000 grant goes specifically to support the Ragtag Programming-affiliated educational outreach program headed by Polina Malikin.
