Although Richard Karn appeared in Broadway and off-Broadway productions before starring in a highly successful sitcom with Tim Allen on ABC, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is his first foray on the stage since Home Improvement went on the air in 1991. And Karn has proven that he can still bring sidesplitting laughter to a theater audience in his role as a school's Vice-Principal in this hilariously quirky musical comedy, produced by Joe R. Fox III and now playing at the New Theatre Restaurant in Overland Park.
