Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre "Pride and Prejudice" review by Robert Trussell

Someone whose opinion I respect recently commented that Jane Austen novels translate well to the screen, but not so much to the stage. The well-acted Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre production of "Pride and Prejudice," adapted by Jon Jory, would seem to confirm that view.
