Big names in rock, classical and a wide variety of music and entertainment are on the docket for the 2012-13 season in Johnson County Community College’s Performing Arts Series. “I’m excited about the new season, generally, of course, but I think I’m most looking forward to welcoming Shirley MacLaine,” said the series’ general manager, Emily Behrmann. “She’s a Hollywood icon, with a wealth of memories and experiences spanning a 50-year career. I think her presentation will be fascinating, heart-warming and fun.
