Lyric Opera "Barber of Seville" performance

A hilarious scene from the Lyric Opera of Kansas City production of Rossini's The Barber of Seville. Count Almaviva (Brain Anderson) fakes his way into Dr. Baroloto's house (Kevin Burdette), disguised as a substitute for Rosina's (Sandra Piques Eddy) regular singing tutor. Almaviva and Rosina are in love, but Bartolo is Rosina's ward and has plans to marry her himself. Directed by William Theisen, artistic director Ward Holmquist. Tickets: www.kcopera.org
