Topeka Symphony "Czech Mates" review by Sarah Young

On Oct. 1, the Topeka Symphony Orchestra opened its season — the last with conductor John Wesley Strickler at the helm — with “Czech Mates,” a program featuring Dvorak’s Symphony No. 6 in D major, and Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D major, with guest soloist Ivan Zenaty.
