Brad Dechter of Los Angeles County, Calif. orchestrated the score of the ballet “Tom Sawyer,” which the Kansas City Ballet (
www.kcballet.org) will premiere Oct. 14 at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Dechter has worked on the scores of more than 200 films, including the Academy Award nominated scores for “The Fugitive,” “The Prince of Tides” and “Michael Clayton.”
