Thursday night jazz jams at YJ's

YJ's Third World Snack Cafe at 128 West 18th Street in Kansas City Missouri Hosts a Thursday night Jazz Jam with Hermon Mehari and his group, Diverse. This is a jam that is open to the public where the band reharses new material. People can come in and see the creative process happening and watch many talented musicians refine their chops. The jam happens most Thursday nights, generally from 9 PM to ???? YJ's is open 24 hours Thursdays through Sunday mornings, so the jam could go on until the sun comes up and the morning brunch crowd moves in. This is Kansas City creativity at it's finest.
