Nobody Lonesome for Me

I just had the opportunity to see Nobody Lonesome for me. I was very disappointed with the portrayal of Hank. I realize he had a drinking and drug problem. I would have preferred the focus to be on his accomplishments and immense talent, NOT on his problems. The actor could not sing. The mannerisms such as hitting himself in the head were way off base. I took my parents to this show, who had actually SEEN Hank, and they were upset also. This is the first of very many performances at American Heartland Theatre I have been disappointed in.
