"Watts Mill" viedo by Brad Richmond
Watts Mill located on 103rd East of State Line in Kansas City, Missouri. The mill was built in 1832 on the banks of Tomahawk Creek. All that remains are some limestone structures. The area is quite beautiful, and if you go down near the stream, you will feel like you are miles away from the nearby businesses. You will see the falls, and during low water you can walk on the limestone creek bed. The character of Watts Mill changes with the seasons and rainfall. It's well worth adding to your list of local attractions.
[Thanks, Tony]

Thanks for the pretty video, Brad. I'm now in British Columbia, surrounded by nature, but I used to cycle the trail by Watts Mill, in search of respite from the asphalt jungle.
ReplyDeleteAnother reason to love Watts Mill is the proximity to not one, not two, but THREE stores with great wine selection!
Berbiglia, Royal Liquors and Cosentino's Price Chopper :-)
Now, if only Jasper's Marco Polo allowed BYOB on the terrace outside with their delicious grilled Italian sausages ...
