The Kansas Arts Commission announced its Fiscal Year 2011 arts-in-education grant recipients who will receive a total of $207,380 in funds. The program supports innovative, structured arts-learning experiences for Kansas children from birth through the 12th grade. The Commission believes that the arts are a vital component of education and that the arts are a core part of 21st-century workforce skills.
