William Whitener has been artistic director of the Kansas City Ballet since 1996. Earlier in his career, Whitener danced with the Joffrey Ballet and on Broadway in the original production of Bob Fosse’s “Dancin’.” The Ballet’s fall program opens Thursday night at the Lyric Theatre and runs through Sunday.
