Lee's Summit Symphony preview by Julie Scheidegger

The chaotic, yet predictable melody of musicians tuning instruments will fill the Lee’s Summit High School Bernard C. Campbell Performing Arts Center Oct. 16 as concert-goers lean across seats to chat with friends and wave across aisles to a familiar faces – even as strangers becomes less so as conversations begin and quickly end as the lights flicker. But it won’t be about who is there, who will hear the performance of Mozart’s “Jupiter” and Schubert’s “Rosamunde,” – it will be about who’s not.
